Biography
Lauren DiStefano is an associate attorney whose practice includes representing corporate clients in a range of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, products liability, and commercial litigation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Lauren served as a paralegal at McDonnell & Associates, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in all phases of litigation—from initial case evaluation, discovery, arbitration, and trial preparation. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of the firm’s practice areas and a practical perspective on achieving efficient and productive results for clients, including one of the nation’s largest retailers.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Widener Delaware Law School, graduating cum laude and receiving a certificate of achievement in legal writing. During law school, Lauren served as a law clerk with a respected Delaware trial and appellate firm that focuses on medical malpractice, sexual abuse, personal injury, and asbestos matters. In this role, she assisted attorneys in legal research, drafting dispositive motions, and preparing cases for trial and appeal. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in litigation strategy and courtroom procedure, which she now applies to defending clients in complex civil matters. Lauren is also a graduate of Temple University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Liberal Arts. During her undergraduate studies, Lauren served as an intern with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, assisting in the trial division unit.
Today, Lauren leverages both her prior paralegal experience and legal training to deliver thorough, responsive, and strategic representation to her clients and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, attending concerts, and spending time with her fiancé and family at the Jersey Shore.
