- slips on transitory conditions

- sidewalk and parking lot defects
- entrance way and threshold accidents, including automatic doors
- forklift and power equipment mishandling
Our attorneys have more than 180 civil cases to verdict, most of them resulting in outright defense verdicts. Our attorneys have also conducted multiple “mock trials” and focus groups to develop comprehensive trial themes and defense strategies.
Our attorneys have unique and extensive experience handling catastrophic injury cases including: wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations. Practice head Patrick J. McDonnell has served as coordinating and trial counsel for a large retailer for matters alleging Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (“CRPS”), traumatic brain and spinal cord injury cases throughout the country. He has also co-authored multiple peer reviewed scientific articles on medico legal issues, including a textbook chapter utilized in medical schools throughout the country.

Our attorneys aggressively pursue third party indemnity issues involving landlords and other service contractors. Our attorneys are leaders in handling accidents at modern workplaces where there are issues involving the conduct of independent contractors, leased employees, borrowed servants, and business visitors.
Quality work product is our firm’s top priority. While partners and senior attorneys are assigned to all matters, we also utilize associates with lower billing rates to manage work efficiently. We believe that this method optimizes quality and minimizes costs. Firm attorneys use technology appropriately, including e-discovery programs and trial presentation software. Because of concerns over “hallucinated case law” that has resulted in sanctions against other law firms, we do not currently utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to prepare court filings and briefs. Partners review all pleadings and briefs before they are filed.
